RE: remote server for log_archive_dest

I would create a script that runs every x minutes and ftp to the location and remove it afterward. What do you think about it?

I am wanting to write my archive logs to a different server to the one my
database runs on.

This server will not be running Oracle therefore I can't send the archive
job via NET8, i currently send the file via FTP but is there a slicker method
