If you are talking about converting dictionary managed tablespaces to locally managed tablespaces (by saying "from manual to auto") you can do find out how to do it in pl/sql supplied packages manual. The procedure is Dbms_space_admin.migrate_to_local.
But in this way you cannot get the space management benefits (extent sizes will be user managed still), but you can get the performance benefits.
Note 120061.1 on Metalink gives a good explanation.
Creating a new locally managed tablespace and moving the objects using alter table move is a perfect transition to locally managed tablespaces.
