Of what? The "science" of observation?

Yep, though Latin is not my strong suite. The problem is that things are *never* equal between operating systems. Just observation alone as a basis of jugding differences in performance between operating systems is simply invalid.

It is similar to saying that a SQL in Oracle is slow because you don't like it taking 10 minutes to complete because you're other SQL takes 10 seconds - and hey, they are *both* SQL, both on the same table, both return 10 rows, so both should be equally fast! Right?

Making judgements by mere observation.. sorry, that simply does not cut it IMO.
