        Then we'd had long been automated away.

        Which might be a good thing, since then perhaps the industry would get the time needed to stop patching SQL and develop a truly relational system. Even a relational, functional OS... it would be funny to see how much more powerful, cheaper, faster, simpler, even environmental-friendly such systems would be.

        End of daydreaming.
