Regarding your question on jobs not running, there's a lot of situations that may be happening, since you dont provide more info I only can give you some advice, pls issue a write to alert or user dump on your job, so this way you will be able to see if the job starts, if it does, then you need to verify if what you are calling from your job is running or not.

Hi ,

I come across some problem here, where by i exp a dmp file from another database that contains DBMS_JOB. I know that there are 16 job. But once i imp the dmp file into another server only 6 job gets created.

Is that possible to manually imp the job only ? Or any workaround ?

Another problem i encounter, the some of the dbms job is not running as expected. Infact when i check on the job...status is actually normal ? What are the problem that coz it ?

I am on Oracle 8i
