Hi,

Your db can't work properly with sysaux offline.

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>sqlplus / as sysdba

SQL*Plus: Release 10.1.0.2.0 - Production on Mon Aug 1 15:38:09 2005

Connected to:
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.2.0 - Production With the Partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining options

SQL> select count(*) from all_objects
2 where status = 'VALID';

COUNT(*)

48887

SQL> alter tablespace sysaux offline;

Tablespace altered.

SQL> select count(*) from all_objects
2 where status = 'VALID';
where status = 'VALID'

ERROR at line 2:

ORA-00376: file 3 cannot be read at this time
ORA-01110: data file 3: 'C:\MYORACLE\ORADATA\ORA10G\SYSAUX01.DBF'

SQL> alter tablespace sysaux online;

Tablespace altered.

SQL> select count(*) from all_objects
2 where status = 'VALID';

COUNT(*)

48887
