Run ifconfig from a bash shell and see if the interfaces are listed. If not, it means that no IP stacks are loaded on any of the interfaces. In that case use RH's network admin tool to configure IP addresses (excluding the VIP addresses). Alternatively, simply vi the applicabe neworking conf files in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts.
