1 Tb of data in 6-8 hrs. Is this feasible on your system just in writes?
that's anywhere from ~ 30 - 60 Mb/s in writes. This won't even include a
backup. Some of these tables must be pretty big, even creating the indexes
in parallel will chew up alot of time.
