Yes you can. If your database crashed due to some corruption reasons then you may want to apply logs just before the time when the crashed took place.

Say I have the following scenario.

Day 1: Hot Backup - all files backup successfully
Day 2: Hot Backup - one file does not back up
Day 3: Database crashes

Using Day 1 backup, can I restore to current time assuming I have all archive logs needed?
