It is almost like a cloned instance. In fact, we backup/restored all the oracle related filesystems and reinstalled Solaris 8 from scratch. I am not quite sure about Oracle Data Mining (ODM).

# pwd

/oracle/SB1/920_64/lib
# ls -l libodm*.so

lrwxrwxrwx   1 oradv1   dba           11 Jun 28 19:42 libodm9.so -> libodmd9.so
-rwxrwxrwx   1 orasb1   dba         9064 Aug 13  2003 libodmd9.so

Is this a new instance or cloned from one where ODM was enabled? Check to see if you have a line $ORACLE_HOME/lib/libodm9.so pointing to $ORACLE_HOME/lib/libodmd9.so
