Isn't that what a logical standby db does?

Subject: SQL-level replication using log miner

Folks,

IHAC that wants to replicate their data in near real-time at a SQL level, using something like Log Miner. They're doing approximately 20MB./sec. of transaction log traffic, and they're concerned about a) if that will work and b) what kind of hardware will it take to parse out all those logs? This is a little out of the ordinary for what we're used to dealing with, given the quantity of redo - I was hoping that someone could offer some advice, guidance, etc.

Much obliged,
Matt
