RE: NLS Language problem on restore/recovery through RMAN

The NLS CHARACTERSET is the following:

Original database

WE8MSWIN1252 Target database

WE8MSWIN1252 RCAT Catalog:

US7ASCII In the recovery script I set NLS to:

NLS_LANG=3DAMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1 When the recovery is being done to duplicate the database I get an error on NLS Lang mismatch.

Would it work to just set it in my recovery script to:

NLS_LANG=3DAMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252
