oracle apps user group

I am working on Oracle 11i Apps again after 3 years of bliss without it. (can you tell I am totally thrilled to be working on it again). I have to customize some checks and can't find any useful information on the web or metastink.  

Can anyone point me to a descent 11i Apps user group? Or can anyone walk me through this?
