We have Statspack repository built this way for about 15-20 databases. However, we have a separate schema for each database - it's easier to manage.
In addition, we have home-made web interface that allow many kind of reports to be run from web browser in addition to standard reports. One of advantages is that we can provide access to the reports to someone (like developers) without compromizing poduction DBs.
