[Q] how to change character set of database??

We plan to change our databases character set from AL32UTF8 to US7ASCII. I knew there have way to do it are:

. full database export
. create database with character set us7ascii
. full datbase import

Except this, does there has other way to do it?

Database version is 9ir2.
