I don't know how they do it in v5. My first test: I'm running a 1gig guest database (10g RAC/ASM on RHEL3) and my laptop reports less than 200MB total RAM consumed while running XPSP1 host. Not possible? Its great because I do not have to tweak the guest to less that 1gig just to run on the laptop. Also, suspend now takes less than 5 seconds.

I'm really curious what is going on with RAM. I suspect they are swapping to disk but even so it does not make sense to use so little RAM. Maybe they are hiding it some other way on XP host. I don't know.
