Ah. I wish I had recalled that, as I have had similar problems with SAP consultants setting global Env Vars.

In a multi home Oracle/Windows environment that will certainly cause problems.

Glad you found it.

I've been maintaining databases on Win32 for 4 years now, and it is still more work than it is on a *nix box.
