Dave is right about people willing to take a lower level position because you don't want to travel. I'm northern virginia on a large project. We have people coming in from all over the country. We have one guy who is 62 who is living in an RV, another guy flying in from minnesota, another one from colorado. They are leaving families behind. Taking a lower level position back home is probably a better option for many of them.
