Renaming or changing IP of server- Portal

Further to my previous reply I can now confirm that ;ater releases of appserver -10g have a method=20 Of changing hostnames and IP addresses that works. There is a script called chgiphost tht does the businness The only problem we hit was that our OID password Was 11 Chars long and the perl script only accepted 10 chars - Solution - change the password.
