Oracle DBA Job near Boston

A mid-size company west of Boston is looking for an experienced Oracle DBA. The ideal candidate would come from a development background, but should be also comfortable supporting critical Oracle 7 instances that have been running non-stop for a couple of years.

The candidate must have:
- excellent SQL and PL/SQL knowledge

• performance tuning expertise
• strong UNIX and shell/perl scripting skills
• on-call production support experience

The following skills are highly desirable:
- OPS/RAC

• Replication/Queuing/Streams
• SAN/GeoMirroring/Standby
• Data Warehousing and ETL development
• Logical and physical data modeling
• PeopleSoft apps
• SQL Server

Pay: $75,000 - $95,000
