Hi Jared

grid... (I just don't understand why you wrote "now IBM...") Aside this, = which is not very important, in my opinion Oracle has no grid (see a = paper that I wrote on this subject some time ago = http://www.trivadis.com/Images/grid_computing_en_tcm17-11759.pdf).

Among Sun, Oracle and IBM, AFAIK, the only one who tries to make their = products compatible is IBM, i.e. they base their grid products on = "standards". Oracle just did a try with Oracle9i but gave up with Oracle = 10g...

>From my "point of view" (our customers are based in central Europe...) =
only large research organization which needs high processing power uses = grids. i.e. "normal" enterprises are not interested on it, yet!
