We have gone from ML2 to ML3 and then to ML4 with no Oracle (9.2.0.4) issues. We were on ML3 for 14 months. BTW, why aren't you going to ML4 since it is available?

Am about to upgrade aix from AIX 5.2 ML 0 to ML3.
