To those of you who posted test cases with different level of performance based on the DFMRC. Did your query plan change? I know this parameter can affect query plans, but if you are doing a straight full table scan, I did not notice any performance difference with different settings. I only noticed differences if my plan changed. I was looking to test whether it actually increases the pipe to the hard drive.
