It doesn't look like its back to me ... if you surf to any stored links, you get re-directed to http://groups-beta.google.com/... How do you pull up, say, comp.databases.oracle.server in the old interface?

I agree though; new interface is horrible, obviously designed for the novice user. Too much bolding, colors, etc, unnecessary for technical researchers.
