Sol:

We are using 8.0.6.3.1 SQL*Net client (installed with Developer 6i) to connect to 9.2.0.5 databases, haven't had any issues so far with this configuration. Am going to try with 10.1.0.3 database later this month.

Can Oracle V8.0 client talk to ORACLE v9.2 DB? I know it won't talk to V7.3.4.5 *& will talk to 8i.
