Hi,

There is a similar tool to "top" used on Unix but for Oracle. It is written by James Morle's company scaleabilities. It is called dbtop and is written in Java. Go to http://www.scaleabilities.com/tools.shtml to get it, it is free.

Also if you want to see the worst pieces of SQL in the SGA get a script from oriole.com called peep.sql that does just that. go to www.oriole.co m/scripts/peep.sql.

hth

kind regards

Pete
