Dennis, I think it was actually Steve Adams that did some work on the evil of synonyms and public vs. private, a while ago. You can still see his findings at http://www.ixora.com.au/, click the "Newsletter" = tab,
and look for a link titled 'Sinonyms', and yes, I'm pretty sure it's=20 spelled that way.
