In my experience you can move a table and rebuild the indexes without downtime. Things get a bit slower during the time your messing around, but they don't stop.=20

Subject: DBMS_REDEFINITION

I would like to hear feedback on DBMS_REDEFINITION package for table/index reorg.
I like table move, index rebuild, but that does require some downtime...I amn told I can do same with package with no downtime.
