Hi All,
the env is oracle 9.2.0.4 / Aix 5.2L.

can someone help me configuring snmpd
(OS snmp daemon) on AIX.

to check for oracle MIB entries (as per metalink), i say

$oratclsh[1]- oradbsnmp getnext 1.3.6.1.4.1.111.4.1 1.3.6.1.4.1.111.4.1.1.1.1.2 96645

this works fine. next part is the problem.

#snmpinfo -m next -v 1.3.6.1.4.1.111.4.1.XX.YY.ZZ.XX noSuchName at position 1

actually this is not the expected ouput. how do i make the os snmp daemon load/read the MIB entries of oracle ?

Raj: i found ur query on this list sometime back

     regarding this.Have u got any suggestions ?

Regards,
Prem.
