Installing Patch #68 on TRU64

We are installing patch #68 on TRU64 for 8.1.7.4 and encountering
problems.  A TAR has been opened.  Have others encountered problems and,
if so, what was the solution?  I've already done a search of the
Oracle-L archive and read all the related threads.
