Hello Seema,

Look in V$SQLAREA for SQL statements with a high number of DISK_READS. = Examine the execution plans for these statements and consider whether they can be tuned to reduce the number of block gets.

Subject: IO

I have been experiencing high IO on solaris 5.7 box. All the database files are on one disk due to disk constraints? Any idea how to reduce I/O rate?
