I would be more concerned if you have many trace files generated frequently. I usually saw maybe one or two trace generated by oracle and I usually looked at them and delete them afterwards. If you have lots of trace generated, you may want to investigate why.

I'm fairly new in the DBA realm. Can anyone tell me what a good standard to follow would be for the length of time to keep *.trc files. I'm moving these to a separate file system to free up some disk.
