Okay, focus your thoughts south and east of Florida a bit, latch on to the image of the storm, and think "NORTHEAST, NORTHEAST." Just about now that storm track should hit nothing but open water.

Then, if we succeed and Orlando is still there, y'all come to the OAUG DBSIG. The DBSIG meeting is free (if you stay for the whole conference it costs money but the DBSIG meeting and lunch right after are free) and Oracle is sending two very clued in speakers from the development group. Details at www.oaug.org.

This should be an interesting session. It will certainly be an opportunity to hear exactly how they intend things to work, and will probably be a chance to interact regarding mysteries detected. Y'all come!

"Mark,

The speakers for this session will be Mohammed Zait and Benoit Dageville. Mohammed is the manager of the optimizer group while Benoit is one of our senior most developers and lead architect for the Oracle10g SQL Tuning Advisor. <snip>

Thanks,

Sushil"
