No. The US7ASCII character set only encodes the first 127 ASCII characters, which doesn't include any of the accented Western European characters.

Subject: US7ASCII / French Character

Is it possible to store and retrieve the special french characters in a database with US7ASCII? Or, do I need to perform a characterset conversion to WE8ISO8859P1 or UTF8 or something else? Thanks.
