This might involve a few hundred tables (or more) -- maybe some kind of peoplesoft-like deal. There is nothing wrong with presenting another option to be used or not used as one sees fit.

Multiple tablespaces for a schema: That's actually very common. Nothing strange there at all, and no competent DBA would see it as strange.
