Are you going to disable it in SQL*Plus? It sounds like your developers have some rights that they shouldn't have.

I like Toad but you have to be careful. One of our developers used a =3D trial version to truncate a number of very important tables in =3D development that weren't backed up on the exact day I submitted the =3D purchase order for 20 seats to management. We never got Toad. However, =3D after much research I was able to find that you can disable that button =3D in the config file.=3D20

Venu,

   Just keep in mind that if the developers have the rights to change any of the data in production, they will be able to do it directly via TOAD. TOAD makes it even easier to make data changes, without SQL.
