Since quest has bought tora now.
i know there have been talk on to implementing tora funcationality into future versions of toad and trying to used the tora interface to create a toad for linux. but according to the toad product manager there hasnt been enough interest for a toad for unix/linux edition to warrant a product development team effort. but it is definitely o the horizon Jared Still <jkstill_at_cybcon.com> wrote:

While it is nice to have a TOAD-like tool (TOra) on linux, it cannot (yet?) be favorably compared to TOAD. I'm using a 3 year old freebie version of TOAD, and it still has better functionality and layout than TOra.

I hope that changes though.
