You can always restore a Hot Backup of an RAC database to a non-RAC [single-node] instance.
You must only ensure that you also copy the ArchiveLogs of all the Threads of the RAC database.
When you issue the RECOVER DATABASE command [on the non-RAC instance], it would prompt for all the Threads [ie both threads if the RAC database was running 2 instances]
