 From your statspack report, I did not see huge physical write, it is not very high for your hardware.
  For HPUX, did you use raw for your datafiles(you mentioned logfile is on raw). And in HPUX, there are a lot of kernel parameter to set to enable and optimize the AIO. Did your SA setup them properly?   And I wonder whether you are using a really small dataset for your benchmark. You data buffer size is really small (less than 1g) but your cache hit ratio is 99%+.
