Juan,

IMHO, if you are thinking in terms of features which are here to answer functional requirements to improve performance you are on the wrong tracks. Early in the morning and before any coffee cup I don't see why there would be any performance benefit, but even if there were any I wouldn't remember
the fact as a 'possible recipe',
because in such a case Oracle hasn't, nor should have, any commitment to keep this true in a future release.
