Has anyone used OracleXML.getXML to retrieve data from tables in XML format??

I have been using this successfully for several months now, but recently discovered that it doesn't properly extract certain special characters. In my case, it does not retrieve the +/- sign correctly. It shows up in the XML as an upside down question mark.

I have played with the CLASSPATH, changing from classes11.zip to nls_charset12.zip, and other libraries with no success.

I tried different settings for the -encoding parameter, setting it to UTF8, and others, with no success. Although the special character now shows up as some A character with a question mark.

Help??

Chris
