" set maxcorrupt for datafile datafileSpec to integer sets a limit on the number of previously undetected physical block corruptions that Oracle will allow in a specified datafile or list of datafiles (see "datafileSpec"). If a backup or copy command detects more than the specified number of corruptions, the command aborts. The default limit is zero, meaning that RMAN tolerates no corrupt blocks. " I have to instruct RMAN to tolerate 5 corrupt blocks. How & where should I specify maxcorrupt value? set maxcorrupt for datafile 3 to 7 Mladen, Thanks for your answer. A malicious and bad person would suggest you to read the f***ing manual, but, as I've said before, I'm a nice guy, so I will not say anything like that. > > > 3)restore database until sequence 100 thread 1; > > what is "thread 1"?
