I have created synonyms with dblinks pointing from the 7.3.4 db to the 8.1.7 gateway and then to the 9.2 database; Selects on the tables work fine from the 7.3.4 and 8.1.7 database, but when I put the synonym in a procedure I get an hourglass and the procedure goes to never never land. Then it finally says it can't find the second link from 8.1.7 to 9.2. I hope that is clear. Has anyone else tried this?
