I started loading 2 years worth of date sensitive data into a partitioned table and the UNDOTBS grew to 6 gig and filled the disk. Normally there was a 2 gig limit on the datafile sizes and this supprised me when the disk filled. Perhaps Oracle has matured more than we thought. Ron >>> rgramolini@tax.state.vt.us 06/29/2004 10:34:15 AM >>> As long as you have large files enabled you can go much bigger. Certain Oracle files had 2 gig limits prior to 9i (it could have been 8i but I skipped this release) but these been lifted. There used to be a 2 gig limit on .dmp files in oracle but this is gone. I just tested it exp and I have been using rman backpieces much bigger than 2 gig since we started on 9i.
