I would increase sga and buffer size.
I would get statpacks reports to see how things are working now (level 7 if possible, b ut include execution paths), then after the increase, you could have something to compare with.

Personally I'll wait to that moment, run statpacks as soon as possible, I will stay all the night in the office optimizing and fix what is wrong.

Subject: Double database load.  

One of my application said that the load on the database will double in = the month of September. They will be rolling out the app. to lot more = people.
What are the precautions I need to take besides space? How do I know if the SGA is enough? It is a datawarehouse. Any suggestions are appreciated.
