We've been using this product for quite some time.

It is quite reliable. I believe it is the basis for what RMAN does today, only it's got 10 years of maturity Built in.

It's not cheap, though. With RMAN being included with Oracle, I would hesitate to commit to BMC. They've recently raised their support prices, and we're strongly considering dropping the product because of this.
