Try importing with the 8i imp executable.  

Something like this

ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7

imp system/manager_at_dbinv9i file=foo.dmp

    I want to move a schema from 9i to 8i. When I use export/import, it gives me error

IMP 00010 , please suggest me what should I do in this regard or is there any other method to move schema? Please give me some some lights. thanks
