Michael

Just keep in mind that FTP is really, really OLD. It was developed back in '71 before the new-fangled modern stuff like Unix and multi-level directories were in common use.

Thanks you all - will mget recurse directories under the current directory (keep recursing all the way down)?

Thanks

You can also use one of my favorites, ncftp. It add extras in addition to the standard unix/linux ftp program,

Regardless, you can use mput or mget to fetch everything in the directory.

How about turning off the prompt and doing an mput or mget? Will that meet your needs?
