With the extra benefit of no more "software rot", the process by which windows registry starts "growing" and the system becoming slower and more unusable.

Now, seriously, won't a configuration Linux + Oracle + VMWare with WinXP be a better one for DBAs that require both Oracle and Office/Outlook/etc stuff?
