They claim a near linear scale ( 1 IV almost = 2 III's ) but I'm wondering if anyone has seen these in action... For those of you who don't know, the UltraSPARC IV is a dual core version of the UltraSPARC III... Basically, Sun put two UltraSPARC III's into a single ship to create the IV... http://www.sun.com/processors/UltraSPARC-IV/ -- Regards, Tim Johnston Tel: 978-322-4226 Fax: 978-322-4100 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@freelists.org put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at http://www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at http://www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
